The photograph was taken at night using only available landscape and streetlights. It was then edited to reveal a figure holding its head and screaming, as in Edvard Munch’s famous painting. BOO!!
This is a photo taken in the parking lot of The Modern in Fort Worth, TX. The landscaping at the Modern is immaculate. However, it’s the lighting that is the literal star of the museum’s grounds. “BOO!!” is another night photo that lent itself to my process beautifully.
